Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Ashton & Forge collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is a working template and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.

Information we collect

We collect the details you share with us directly, for example when you file a matching brief, subscribe to the Field Notes blog, or contact us. This typically includes:

• Your name, email address, and company.
• Answers you provide in your matching brief.
• Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser, used to keep the service secure.

How we use it

We use your information to match you with suitable agencies, prepare your Forge Playbook, respond to enquiries, and, only where you have opted in, send you the occasional Field Notes brief. We do not sell your personal data.

Agreement records

When an agency member signs the listing agreement in the portal, we record the date and time of signing, the member account that signed, the IP address the signature came from, and the revision of the agreement text that was accepted. This record is evidence that a specific person accepted specific terms, and we keep it on that legitimate-interest basis. Unlike the technical data above, the IP address in this record is stored as collected, not anonymized, and we retain it for the life of the agreement and for as long as the agreement may need to be evidenced afterwards.

Sharing

When we introduce you to agencies, we share only what is needed to make a relevant introduction, and only with your knowledge. We rely on trusted service providers (such as hosting and email) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep the site working. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and — only if you also allow marketing cookies — its advertising features to measure our ad campaigns. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time, and we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Review what we use and change your choices anytime on our cookie preferences page.

Booking a call runs on Google Calendar. Its calendar loads on our site only if you allow marketing cookies or say yes when we ask, because loading it sets Google's cookies; otherwise you can book on Google's own page instead.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Field Notes blog at any time using the link in any email. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
